ACTIVITIES
Monterra explores and develops gold and polymetallic deposits in Kazakhstan. The exploration of several of our deposits has been completed and actual mining and processing at our plant is expected in 2021/22.
The plant will be fed by several ore streams from our deposits. The ore is processed by applying German technology in order to have "Dore", a concentrate of gold and silver. In addition, by-products such as zinc and tin are produced.
Selection and Strcuturing
Monterra reviews, analyzes and structures potentially profitable raw material projects and bundles the optimal partners though its international network.
Exploration
In order to discover and confirm attractive deposits, Monterra is continuously carrying out extensive exploration works under the guidance of its chief geologist and its team.
Responsible Mining
Monterra is engaged in significant activities according to the UN Sustainable Development goals. Additionally direct social support for the communities in which we work is considered an indispensable basis for our long-term success.
